Regurgitator formed in March 1994 after Ben, Quan and Martin got together having known each others' other bands and reportedly meeting on a bus.
There was no officially released Regurgitator material in 1994, but the band played several live shows and by the end of the year, had accepted a 5 album deal with Warner EastWest Australia.
However, at least one Regurgitator recording was around prior to 1995, that being the Demo Tape that Ben had given to Paul Curtis of Consume Management, Side A containing tracks by Pangaea, and Side B containing tracks by Regurgitator.
