Have you only just realised that it's Valentine's Day, or are you feeling bad about the petrol station roses? Sneak off to the kitchen in the next ad break and bring back this as a surprise...
Take one large coffee mug.
Mix together 4 tablespoons of plain flour, 4 tablespoons of sugar and 2 tablespoons of cocoa powder.
It should look like this:
The Ad-Break Chocolate Cake
Add 1 egg, stir thoroughly.
Pour in 3 tablespoons of milk, 3 tablespoons of oil and a splash of vanilla.
If you have any chocolate chips, mix them through too.
Hopefully you now have a rich chocolate batter:

Place the mug in the microwave and nuke for 3 minutes at full power.
The cake will rise like a souffle over the top of the mug and look quite impressive.
Top it off with chocolate syrup, double cream, ice cream or whatever you can find..
In under 5 minutes, you can waltz back to the couch with this!

The number of spoons is optional...
Happy Valentine's Day! ;)
