This site is owned and operated by spakatak.com on behalf of Warren Sergent (hereby referred to as 'we' or 'us').
Your privacy on the Internet is of the utmost importance to us, and we want to make your experience online satisfying and safe.

Information We Collect:

1. Information that you may provide through optional, voluntary submissions. This includes, but is not limited to, Registering for the site, as well as Rating or Reviewing beers.

2. Web Statistics: Information gathered through aggregated tracking information, derived mainly by tallying page views through our site. This information allows us to better tailor our content to suit users' needs. Whilst this data can be pinpointed to specific users, under no circumstance will we divulge such information about an individual user to a third party. When we use tracking information to determine which areas of our sites users like and don't like, it is based only on traffic to those areas. We do not track what individual users read (nor, for the most part, do we care), but rather how well each page performs overall. This helps us to continue to build a better service for you.

Children:

Consistent with the Federal Children's Online Privacy Protection Act of 1998 (COPPA), we will never knowingly request personally identifiable information from anyone under the age of 13 without requesting parental consent. The content of the spakatak.com International Beers Guide is intended for an audience of Legal Drinking Age. We do not police this, as we don't believe anyone should be blocked from accessing information if they wish to read it. Parents and/or Guardians should be aware that their children may be looking at this data, and act appropriately.

Advertisers:

Because we don't track the usage patterns of individual users, an advertiser will never know that a specific user clicked on their ad. We will not disclose any information about any individual user to anyone, except to comply with applicable law or valid legal process, or to protect the personal safety of our users or the public if required to do so by law.

Opt-Out Policy:

If required, we can be contacted to remove a users' account if it is no longer needed.
Our policy is to leave data as it is, but were necessary, we may edit user comments where they are found to be in breach of our Privacy Policy.

Although registration gives a user full access to many of the features included on our site, you have a choice as to which (if any) features you choose to use. If you have reservations about any portion of this site, you are free not to use it.
